Frequently Asked Questions

Please contact me TruSignNotaryServices@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

A Notary Public is a government officer and public servant who serves as an impartial witness in taking acknowledgments, administering oaths and affirmations, and performing other acts authorized by state law.

  • The signer must present acceptable primary identification.
  • The Notary Public records the details of the notarization in the journal.
  • Depending upon the type of notarization, the Notary Public witnesses the signer's signature, oversees the copying of a document, and/or obtains applicable declarations from the signer.
  • The Notary completes and signs the preprinted/loose notarial certificate on the document.
  • The Notary completes the notary certification by placing the notary seal, including the commission expiration date, on the document.

TruSign Notary Services offers a range of notary public services, including notarizing documents, administering oaths and affirmations, and certifying copies of documents.

TruSign Notary Services can notarize a wide range of documents, including affidavits, powers of attorney, deeds, contracts, and many others. Please contact me if you have any questions about a specific document.

I am not an attorney and therefore, by law, I cannot interpret the contents of any document for the document signer, instruct the signer on how to complete a document, or direct a signer on the advisability of signing a particular document. By doing so I would be engaging in the unauthorized practice of law and could face legal penalties. Any important questions about your document should be addressed to the lender, Title Company or an attorney.
